NDIS Registered Provider Australia – Pacific Home Care
Short-Term Accommodation (STA), often called respite care, gives NDIS participants a safe, supported place to stay for a short period while giving family members and carers the breathing space they genuinely need.
Our STA services are designed to feel like a real change of scenery. Activities are built around your interests, care is consistent, and our team ensures you feel comfortable from day one.
STA is an NDIS-funded support that covers accommodation and personal care for up to 28 days per year. It is used when a participant’s usual supports are temporarily unavailable, or when both participant and carer want time apart to rest. STA can also be a great opportunity to develop independence skills and social connections in a supported setting.
Your stay is fully supported from arrival to departure. Here is what our STA service covers.
Showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, and any personal care needs attended to with dignity.
Nutritious meals prepared to your dietary requirements and preferences.
Medication administration and health monitoring by trained staff throughout your stay.
Safe, welcoming, and accessible accommodation for the full duration of your stay
Social, recreational, and skill-building activities chosen with your interests in mind.
Supported trips and community access activities during your stay
Experienced staff available around the clock, including active overnight support
Regular communication with your family or carer throughout the duration of your stay
Transport to and from your usual home address at the start and end of your stay
